Downtown Wireless Hotspot
I would like to see Lodi attract more people into town to enjoy our businesses. One way to attract people is with an internet hotspot. This connection will be available to anyone that has a device that can connect to the internet. Downtown is the perfect place for this hotspot; with Central Park, available parking, and sit down style eateries plus a coffee shop, people will be able to enjoy Lodi while also taking care of their business or doing homework. The hotspot will give people a reason to come to Lodi and while they are here explore our stores, business and enjoy our parks.

I think that is a great idea. I am excited about the possibilities to make our community “user friendly.” I would like to explore the cost for making something like this happen. Perhaps we can dedicate a meeting in the next few months to a discussion about this project?

i think the wi fi in the square would be such a great tool and investment. is there not someone who can do this…. stores there in the downtown could use this also for advertising and everthing!
